My new toy!

I'm almost done with my first quilt on it and I'm so excited to unroll it! I've been quilting this blanket (full size) for 4 days and could probably be done with it today or tomorrow if I don't run out of thread :-). I am so excited to have this great Christmas / birthday present (especially after my ebay fiasco!) . All I have to say is yea for the great ebay sellers!

Luke - 6 months old

He looks like a deer caught in headlights :-). I suppose the camera does flash. He's pretty fascinated by the camera. It's hard to distract him to make him smile.

And we captured a smile... or at least as good as we're going to get with a 6 month old :-).

Sweet kids...

I love my kids! It is great to see the two of them together. Hannah really enjoys Luke and the other day after I laid him on the floor I caught them like this. They were looking at each other, which I almost captured, but every time the camera came out, Luke would look at me. This was the best I could do.

Oh, the things kids say...

Okay, I just have to write down this funny thing that happened today. We stopped at Walmart after church to pick up a couple of things. Alex dropped off Hannah and me and drove to a parking space. When Hannah and I came out, I saw him pretty quickly and said "Hannah, there's Daddy over there" and pointed to him. I don't think she saw the car because her response was, "Is he far away?" I said, "No, not too far." She replied, after a pause, "One far?" Yea for little children who make you smile! :-)
